Questions from Brenda

What made you start blogging?

I love writing and expressing. A blog is a delightful way to do it.  After a few starting attempts I finally took the leap and now have a paid for blog. I am currently looking for “quality” ways to monetize it.

What was the first blog you started following?

That one is a difficult one. I’d say a lifestyle one – but after awhile there seems to be a multitude for different reasons. Sometimes bloggers end their blogs or change themes and I guess we do that too.

What is a “must read” book and why?

The Bible. Can never go past it for principled living and value-based living with deeper thinking skills.

Where in the world would you like to live for 3 to 6 months and why?

Would love to live in France – the country part that is.  Just love many things French – their lifestyle, their food, their way of life.  Oh, and the language – can’t forget that!

What are you currently protesting?

The amount of pollution caused by the textile industry.  I have had a Clothing Styles Facebook page for over 5 years and as often as possible I present issues to do with sustainable clothing and choices we make.

What feeds your soul? Lifts you up?

Always scripture and people’s experiences and what has helped them. There are some people who are ones to look up to with the example they set. I am inspired by them.

A life lesson you can share.

Being humble. Many times I have thought myself better than what I was and learned pride goes before a fall. So staying grounded and thinking better of the other person is something I hold onto as a very important life lesson

I have a wide range of interests and the top of my list is people and relationships. I appreciate our big wide world and nature which tries so hard to deal with what we do to it. As noted you will find a variety of topics covered (see Home page) My appreciation goes to my team and others whom I collaborate with to make this blog successful and resourceful. Thanks especially to my team: Sarah, Tina, and Billah (See footer for more of their details)
